Donation-based Classes
online, from where ever you are.
I highly recommend putting the event in your calendar and setting some reminders
so you don’t miss this opportunity to take care of yourself and others.
Know someone who would love to join? Share this link with them!
Hope to see you there.
Donations:
I will be accepting donations via Venmo (@blakecason) or Paypal (blakecason@ gmail.com) from those who can afford it.
A word about donations -
That includes FREE. Please come as often as you need. Donate by sharing and promoting your experience with us.
For this, you can think of it like what you can offer to a friend right now for a favor. A latte? Lunch? Steak dinner? You get the idea… I think in terms of food.
It is also so very acceptable to donate later, when you can. Just join us.
If donations go over my normal rate for this type class, I will start forwarding it to various non-profits, like Meals on Wheels, for example.

Meditation and Social Medicine
Feedback from participants:
“This group came into my life at such a needed time. It feels so good to know that each week I have a time scheduled out to be mindful and interact with new people. Blake is incredible at facilitating discussion and giving people exactly what they need.”
“This forum allows true connection. It provides a way to work together to understand each other and the moment of relief you need in your day.”
“If you've never done group meditation, this is really an enjoyable experience. By the end of the day, my body feels the weight, stress, tension of the day and after doing the meditation it helps me relax and let go of all that. It's a perfect transition into the evening for me. It's a weekly ritual for me.”
“Blake’s Meditation & Social Medicine group has been pivotal to my overall sense of well-being since lockdowns and social distancing began. I look forward to each Wednesday to meet up with an incredible group of people to meditate, communicate, and be 100% present and real.”
Mindful + Movement
About the gathering:
It is helpful to think of physical agility as a process, not a trait. While it may seem like some folks are “natural athletes,” they have also invested much time and energy into that process and skill development. For all of us, though, mindfulness is a super power in physical abilities and longevity. The Process Model has four stages: Pay attention, get curious, experiment, and reflect.
I am so excited to partner with my friend and colleague, Ben, and offer these weekly Friday morning classes. Sometimes the difference between enjoying our bodies and wishing we could trade them in, is simply how we are preparing, engaging in, and recovering from movement. Let’s learn how to tune in and take care of the incredible machine carrying us around the world.
