With this course, you will get a thorough, interactive, and reflective introduction to the Intuitive Eating framework based on the research and methods of Evelyn Tribole MS, RDN, Elyse Resch MS, RDN, CEDRD, and Tracy Tylka Ph.D.

This approach to wellness teaches us how to connect with our bodies, food and ultimately our health.  It is in response to the mountain of research demonstrating the yo-yo effects of restrictive diets on our physical bodies as well as mind and emotions.

This approach to eating is about cultivating authentic health, through equal attunement to the needs of body and mind.  It is not about weight loss, this is not a ‘diet,’ it is self-care and relationship building with self and food.

I invite you to let go of the rules and obsession with what you want to “fix” about yourself and lean into a new way of understanding your body and mind.

Just like writing with your non-dominant hand, it might feel awkward and difficult at first.  This is a significant shift in the ‘norms’ of society, food and views of self.  We will start with and continue to reflect on the importance of self-care and compassion in this technique.  Just like writing with any hand, it takes practice and this workshop is just a start.
